We Are All Antarctica

Connecting Our Past, Present, and Future

We are All Antarctica is inspired by my father, George W. Gibbs, Jr’s adventures, as the first person of African descent to set foot on the continent of Antarctica. He sailed on the USS Bear, as crew, for Admiral Byrd’s III expedition to the South Pole. After a Navy career, Gibbs was interested in the human side of business. He went on to serve humanity by paving the way for people to become more open minded, learn how to serve their community, and appreciate differences in work and life.

If we pay more attention to the environment around us, we become clearer about the thoughts, feelings and actions required to consciously thrive and evolve as a species..
